I am Kyle, founder of the Calorie Method website and experience. I have been at this dieting thing for WAY too long, in fact I have been to a certain degree focusing on health, exercise and diet techniques for the past 20 years now. I have learned a lot, I have failed a lot, and ultimately I have found my personal ideals and strategies that work for me, and I know will work for you.
I want to give you a bit of background on who I am, and what my story is.
I Have Struggled With the “Yo Yo” For 20 Years…
Growing up, I was always in great shape. I played many sports, right through college and into my 20’s and 30’s. Now, just recently stepping into my 40th year, I have decided to veer more of my attention to my health and also the idea of trimming down. Carrying around “extra” weight is not healthy for many reasons, but one of my main concerns has been the pressure it puts on all of your joints, muscles and body in general.
Being trim, though is an aesthetic goal for many, for me is important for health and my ability to be active in sports and do so with intensity (and hopefully injury free).
Honestly, I have struggled with controlling weight for the last 20 years. Although I have certainly never been “obese” or what some would deem to be “overweight’ and at times in very good shape, my habits continued to drag me back into a position where I was around 30lbs or so overweight. These pesky pounds have lead to injuries in sports, and often times me trying to exercise my way out of my problems.
One thing that I did is set out to understand WHY some people are able to lose weight and retain a “cut” figure, and why things I have done for the past 20 years didn’t really work…or if they did, they didn’t do so in a sustainable way.
I Am On a Dieting Mission…One That Includes Others.
My mission, my goal, and what I get enjoyment out of is helping other people achieve results.
So my passion derives from helping folks, and I know that I can help you or anyone else you know get on track with their weight through some simple strategies, choosing the right foods and exercise regimes (for you), and sometimes making split second decisions that will make all the difference in the world.
